Nearby lies Akoumiani Gialia, a wild yet enchanting beach with stunning sand dunes at Cape Melissa, offering unforgettable sunsets as the light reflects off the unique rock formations. It is particularly popular among scuba divers due to its exceptional underwater biodiversity. The beach is slightly organized with a tavern offering refreshments and sunbeds.

The eastern section of the beach, Paligremnos, features towering cliffs that attract climbers and host a unique phenomenon during full moons from September to January.
